Buyback Terms for Old Injectors and Injection Pumps

DIESELCONTROL s.r.o. guarantees customers who purchase injectors or an injection pump from our e-shop the option to sell their old used parts back to us under the conditions set out below.

The buyback guarantee applies only to customers who have purchased a corresponding new, remanufactured or replacement part from us through our e-shop.

1. Parts We Buy Back

We buy back old used parts, especially:

• diesel injectors,
• injection pumps.

The buyback applies only to parts that are suitable for further professional remanufacturing.

2. Buyback Prices

The buyback price is set as follows:

For VDO Continental injectors, the electrical part of the injector, especially the piezo element, must be functional. If the electrical part is not functional, the buyback price of the injector will be reduced by 50%.

3. Condition of Parts Accepted for Buyback

The part must meet the following conditions:

• it must not be superficially or mechanically damaged due to improper removal,
• it must not be heavily corroded,
• it must not be broken, cracked, deformed or otherwise clearly beyond repair,
• it must be complete and in a condition suitable for further professional remanufacturing,
• it must not have damaged main components, connectors, threads or mounting surfaces in a way that prevents further use during remanufacturing.

DIESELCONTROL s.r.o. reserves the right to inspect each delivered part and assess whether it meets the buyback conditions.

4. Deadline for Sending the Old Part

The old part must be sent no later than 30 days from the date of receipt of the purchased goods.

If the part is sent after this deadline, it may not be accepted for buyback.

5. Sending the Parts

Old parts must be safely packed as a postal parcel so that they are not damaged during transport and no operating fluids can leak.

The cost of sending the old part for buyback is paid by the customer.

The parcel must include:

• the customer’s full name,
• the e-shop order number,
• phone number or e-mail address,
• bank account number for payment of the buyback amount,
• number and type of parts sent.

We recommend that the customer take photographs of the part before sending it. Photo documentation may help in resolving any possible transport damage.

6. Inspection and Payment of the Buyback Price

After delivery, the parts will be inspected by our technician. If they meet the buyback conditions, the corresponding buyback amount will be paid to the customer’s specified bank account.

The buyback amount will be paid no later than 5 working days after the part has been approved for buyback.

7. Reduction or Refusal of the Buyback Price

The buyback price may be reduced or the buyback may be refused especially in the following cases:

• the part is heavily corroded,
• the part is damaged due to improper removal,
• the part is incomplete,
• the part is not suitable for further remanufacturing,
• in the case of a VDO Continental injector, the electrical/piezo part is not functional,
• the part was damaged during transport due to insufficient packaging,
• the part was sent after the deadline set for buyback,
• the required information for identifying the customer or order was not included with the part.

8. Return of the Part if the Buyback Is Refused

If the delivered part does not meet the buyback conditions, the customer will be informed.

At the customer’s request, the part may be returned. The cost of return shipping is paid by the customer cash on delivery.

If the customer does not request the return of the part, the part may, by agreement, be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.

9. Important Notice

The buyback of old parts is a separate service provided by DIESELCONTROL s.r.o. and does not constitute a claim or complaint regarding the purchased goods.

The customer’s rights arising from defective performance and warranty/complaint rights remain unaffected.

DIESELCONTROL s.r.o. reserves the right to refuse the buyback of any part that does not meet the technical, mechanical or condition-related requirements stated in these terms.
